REGISTRATION NOW OPEN!

Dragonflies & Butterflies Etiquette for children k-4.  There will be 5 classes beginning November 2019. 

Elementary school students entering Kindergarten through 4th grades fall of 2019 are invited to register. 

Classes will be held at Firebrook Clubhouse located at 4740 Firebrook Blvd.  November 10, 2019,  January 12, 2020, February 9, 2020, March 8, 2020

Holiday Tea: Saturday December 7, 2019 (Parent invited)

Cost:  $200.00 per student

Dress Code: Dress is an important aspect of teaching respect for oneself, as well as to the host/hostess.

Gentlemen will be required to wear khakis, and button down.  Nails and hair should be well groomed.

Young ladies will wear skirts or dresses of a modest length.  Pants or leggings are not acceptable.

Topics will include:

  • Grooming & Hygiene
  • The Best Guest: Expressing Gratitude
  • Table Manners
  • Thinking About Others

Middle School Etiquette:   Our program has been created to encourage children on how to be strong leaders in their community and cultivating positive relationships by respect for themselves and others through the use of every day etiquette and manners.

Middle school students entering 5, 6, 7, & 8th grades fall of 2019 are invited to register. Classes begin October 2019. There are 5 instructional classes and a Holiday &  Spring social.

Classes & Socials will be held at Firebrook Clubhouse located at 4740 Firebrook Blvd.  October 13, 2019, November 10, 2019,  January 12, 2020, February 9, 2020, March 8, 2020

Socials will be held:  December 7, 2019 & April 18, 2020

Cost: $300.00 per student, $250.00 for each additional sibling.

Dress Code: Dress is an important aspect of teaching respect for oneself, as well as to the host/hostess.

Gentlemen will be required to wear Khaki pants, sports coat, button down with tie.  Nails and hair are always to be groomed.

Ladies are to wear modest skirts or dresses that meet the “fingertip” rule.

Topics will include:

  • First and Lasting Impressions: Appearance & Dress
  • Grooming & Hygiene
  • The Importance of giving back through acts of kindness
  • Introduction protocol: Confident posture, eye contact & hand shake
  • Being Polite with Cell Phones
  • The Best Guest: Conversations, Compliments & Expressing Gratitude
  • Table & Dining Etiquette; Restaurant Skills & Terms
  • Anticipating the Needs of Others
  • Invitation & Party Etiquette: Planning ahead for a special event
  • Dating Etiquette: Respecting others and their feelings
  • The Handwritten Thank You…Why It’s Important

High School Intermediate Program:  Students entering 9th-12th grade fall of 2019.  Classes begin October 2019.  There will be seven instructional classes hosted at Firebrook Clubhouse with an end of season dinner party.

Class Dates:  October 13, 2019, November 10, 2019,  December 7, 2019, January 12, 2020, February 9, 2020, March 8, 2020 & Sunday April 19, 2020 (will be a sit down dinner; place TBD)

Cost:  $300.00 per student
